Reread\/sing with them a version of the song about happiness, and listen to the music and revisit how the animals moved. <br>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li><p class=\"speach-bubble left\">How can I express myself? What can\nI do to show how I feel? Is it only\nwords that I can use? How else can\nI let someone know how I feel?\nWhat did we learn about how people\nor animals express themselves?<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tGather together and talk about the inquiry question: \u201cHow can I express myself?\u201d <br>\n\t\t\t<br>\n\t\t\t<br>\n\t\t\t<br>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<strong><i>What Can I Do?<\/strong><\/i> [Self-monitoring]\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><p class=\"speach-bubble left\">I want each of you to tell one other\nperson something that expresses how\nyou feel. When you talk to your partner,\nyou might like to start your sentence\nwith \u2018I can&#8230;\u2019 Think about what you have\nlearned about expressing yourself. What\ncan you do to express yourself? How can\nyou express yourself?<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tAsk students to talk with a partner or in a small group and think about all the ways they can express themselves. You may wish to use a sentence starter such as \u2018I can\u2026\u2019 that you place in the pocket chart.
